Ugrin Paikka is an excellent place in Finland for meeting with various Finno-Ugric cultures!

Finno-Ugric guest house in Finland "Ugrin Paikka" was created for communication and presentations of Finno-Ugric culture to the general public.

There the visitors can discover some parallels in the cultures of the Finno-Ugric peoples, as well as communicate with representatives of some of the Finno-Ugric peoples

The Finno-Ugric guest house in Finland "Ugrin Paikka" has an exhibition of Udmurt culture and have the opportunity to learn basic Udmurt language. There you can meet Udmurts (like a Buranov Grandmothers / Mummot / Babushki) in Finland!

 

We teach a spoken English to activate the school knowledge of our guests and organise intercultural meetings!

Finno-Ugric guest house in Finland "Ugrin Paikka"  located in the center of the village of Sippola. The premises are well placed to organize, for example, meetings and various events. The house also has a separate accommodations for guests (up to 12 people). The sauna is heated for guests and breakfast is included in the accommodation.

 

Sippola is located in Kouvola and Hamina in the middle road. Kouvola trip is about 30 km and Hamina about 25 km. The village is a nationally valuable landscape areas, because there the road relied on the village structure has been preserved well. The village landmarks include the 1600s mansion and  the 1800s neo-Gothic brick church. Also there is a Center for Contemporary Art "Antares"
